Advertising disclosure

Killeen Moving Pros is an advertising and referral service operated by Pinecrest Advisory Services, LLC. This page explains exactly what that means.

We are not a moving company

We do not move, pack, load, transport or store household goods. We hold no TxDMV motor carrier certificate, USDOT number or FMCSA operating authority, and make no claim to any of them. Every move discussed on this site is carried out by an independent moving company, which is responsible for its own registration, insurance, tariff and contract.

Check the mover yourself

Texas requires a company that moves household goods for pay within the state to be registered with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, regardless of vehicle size. TxDMV tells consumers to ask for the mover's TxDMV number and confirm it is active in the state's Truck Stop database, reached from its "Don't Make a Move Without Us" page. A move that crosses a state line requires a USDOT number and FMCSA operating authority, which you can check on FMCSA's Protect Your Move site. Please do these checks for any mover, including the one you reach through this site.

What happens when you call

The telephone number on this site is a tracking number operated by us. Calls are forwarded to an independent moving company serving Killeen and the surrounding area. Calls may be recorded, and you will hear an announcement to that effect before the call connects. If you would prefer not to be recorded, end the call at that point and use the quote form instead.

How we are paid

The moving company that receives your enquiry pays us, either a fixed monthly fee for enquiries from this site or a per-enquiry amount. You are never charged. What you pay for the move is between you and the moving company, and we do not mark up their prices or take a share of the job.

What we do with your details

Your name, phone number and the details of the move are passed to the one moving company handling your enquiry, so it can contact you and quote. They are not sold to anyone else or added to a marketing list.

Military information

Pages about PCS moves and personally procured moves summarise published guidance from Military OneSource, US Transportation Command and Fort Hood. We are not affiliated with the Department of Defense, the Army or Fort Hood. Entitlements and reimbursement rates change, and your transportation office is the authority on your own move.

Prices and photographs

Price ranges on this site describe what local moving companies generally quote and are not offers. The photographs are licensed stock images used for illustration. None shows a move arranged through this site.
