About Killeen Moving Pros
Killeen Moving Pros is an advertising and referral service for residential moves in Killeen and the surrounding Bell County towns. We are not a moving company, and we say so first because you should know who you are dealing with before you hand anyone your furniture.

How it works
You call the number on this site or send a quote request. That reaches us, and we connect you with an independent local moving company that serves your area. They quote the move, they do the move, and your agreement is with them. There is no charge to you for the referral.
Why the site exists
Some of the best small moving outfits around Killeen are a couple of trucks and a crew who are busy every month-end and have no time to build a website. Search for a mover here and you get national van lines, directories and Facebook threads. This site is meant to be a plainer front door: what a move here costs, what to check, and one phone number that reaches a local company.
What we are not
We do not pack, load, drive or store anything. We hold no TxDMV motor carrier certificate, no USDOT number and no FMCSA operating authority, because we do not move household goods and those registrations belong to companies that do. Any moving company you hire through this site is responsible for its own registration, insurance and paperwork.
That is also why the guides tell you to check the mover yourself. In Texas, a company moving household goods for pay inside the state must be registered with the TxDMV, and you can look its certificate up in the state's public database. A move that crosses a state line needs a USDOT number and FMCSA authority, which you can look up on FMCSA's Protect Your Move site. Ask for those numbers whoever you book, including any company you reach through us.
What this site does not have
No testimonials, no star ratings and no photographs of finished moves presented as our own. We have not done the moves in any photograph here and did not collect any reviews, so publishing either would be inventing a track record. The photographs are licensed stock, used to illustrate.
What is here instead is the information: what local moves cost, how PCS moves work when you hire the mover yourself, what a Texas moving estimate must show, and when the calendar fills. Judge the site on whether that is useful and accurate.
Military moves
A lot of Killeen households move on orders. The PCS pages explain the difference between a government-arranged move and a personally procured move, and what the transportation office needs from you, using Military OneSource and Fort Hood's own published guidance. We are not affiliated with the Army, Fort Hood or any government agency, and nothing here replaces counselling with your transportation office.
Questions people actually ask
How do you make money if the referral is free?
The moving company that takes the job pays for the introduction. You pay them for the move at whatever you agree in writing, and nothing you pay is affected by us.
How do you choose which company gets my enquiry?
By whether it covers your area and can take the date. Your details go to one company, not to a list of movers who then call you one after another.
What if something is damaged or the price changes?
Your contract is with the moving company, so its liability terms apply and that is who you take it up with. For a move inside Texas you can also contact the TxDMV; for an interstate move, FMCSA. Tell us too, because the whole arrangement depends on the companies being good.
Are you connected to Fort Hood or the military?
No. This is a private business. For anything about entitlements, PPM approval or reimbursement, the transportation office is the authority.
Can I see reviews?
Not from us. This site has no review history of its own. Ask the company that quotes you for references and read its public reviews directly.
